Tallboy chest of drawers

This seven drawer tallboy uses English cherry for the drawers and carcass side, and American walnut for the legs and top. This combination of wood gives a good bold contrast.

The tallboy stands 1.4 meters high. To help give a sense of ‘lightness’, the legs have a subtle tapering curve.

Each of the drawers in made in the traditional way, including cedar of Lebanon as the drawer bottom. When each drawer is opened, the smell of the cedar gives a wonderful aroma. The handles on the drawer fronts are shaped into the wood, and helps keep the tallboy clean looking.

Materials: English ash, American walnut, cedar of Lebanon.
